The Armored Equipment Logistics Information Management System

Several local wars since 1990s raised the curtain of modern high-technology war. Modernized war with the characteristic of high intensity and consumption indicates that advanced equipment logistics system is the basis of high-technology war and that the capacity and level of equipment logistics is the key factor to determine the progress and result of the war. So we have to speed up establishing the equipment logistics system according to army situation and improve equipment support capacity and quality to adapt the military revolution development trend.Armored equipment logistics is a branch of equipment logistics and armored equipment logistics information management is an important part of armored equipment logistics. At present, our armored equipment logistics information management is still in its infancy, so it is necessary to strengthen the study on armored equipment logistics information management system.This dissertation has done research mainly on the armored equipment logistics information management as follows.The armored equipment logistics management process has been studied on, and so has the armored equipment warehousing and transportation management primarily. On the basis of analyzing the workflow and influence factors of warehousing management, the cost model for armored equipment warehousing management has been created. The classification of transport modes and the influence factors on the selection of transportation route also have been analyzed. Allusion to the unreasonable factors in transportation process, corresponding solutions have been come up with. Then single transportation mode selection model and transportation route selection model have been established and used to solve practical problems.The classification of armored equipment logistics information has been analyzed. Aimed at the requirements of armored equipment logistics information system, the prototype framework of the system has been built and the designment of system functions has been completed. Each subsystems has been designed in details by modular design method.With key technologies of armored equipment logistics management process discussed, radio frequency recognition technology and satellite positioning and navigation technology have been introduced primarily. Combined computer technology and database technology, the armored equipment logistics information management system has been designed and implemented, and the comprehensive information inquiring subsystem, warehousing management subsystem, transport management subsystem and related auxiliary subsystems have been developed. The system functions have been demonstrated.This paper provides not only new idea for armored equipment logistics management, but also scientific method for armored equipment logistics information management.
