The Reseach On People's Congress Supervision Of Duruan Town In Jiangmen City

The people's congress system is China's fundamental political system. It is the key applicable way for people to master the country. People's congress supervision is the basic content of the people's congress system and essentially have constraint over the ruling power. The responsibility of people's congress is vital and should not be neglected. It is not only the instinct spirit of polity, but also plays an extremely important part to ensure the constructions of the democracy and the legal system.For a long time, there are a lot of researches on the function of the people's congress or the legislative concerns of the Standing Committee. Such as China's"Constitution"and"Local Organization Act", establishied the oversight functions of the people's congress and its Standing Committee.The introduce of"Supervision Law"has clearly identified the content and the methods of supervision towards the people's congress and the Standing Committee. In contrary, studies on the supervision of township people's congress are relatively less. However, in reality, the township people's congress system has been the weakest point of the establishment of the people's congress. The superiority of the people's congress system in the township does not fully reflected. The township people's congress weakly works. There are still many gaps With the requirements of the Constitution, the law and the rural grass-roots democracy demands. And this Seriously affects the people's congress supervision authority to establish and perfect the mechanism.Thus, the research on township people's congress, strengthen its oversight functions becomes meaningful to promote the building of grassroots democracy.This paper will focus on the people's congress supervision of Duruan town in Jiangmen City.
