Research On Chinese Government's Policy-Making For Middle Class In Our Country On The Basis Of Building Harmonious Society

Relevant research about middle class abroad has a fairly long history of nearly five decades and the related issues about middle class have attracted both social and scientific scholars' attention and discussion with the continuing development of Chinese marketing economy. Large percentage of middle class in population distribution can be the major force to boost continuous economic development, and it is also one of the key symbols of harmonious society.This essay mainly discusses how government develops its middle class in both policy-making and guidance according to our actual situation on the basis of building harmonious society thus boost overall social development much better, swifter and more harmoniously. And these issues need to be further discussed academically.This essay is divided into five major parts:Part One is Introduction, which mainly introduces the background and significance of this research, the relevant history of research both at home and abroad and the current status of research, as well as the methods and the potential renovation points.Part Two is about theoretical analysis & thesis explanation, which explains the related concepts about middle class and harmonious society. According to Vilfredo Pareto's theory of elite mobility, it also states that nurturing a sound social evolution system is the foundation for social stability and harmonious development, and middle class acts as the core force to alleviate social conflicts during the process of continuing social evolution.Part Three is about relevant case-study in several developed countries, which certifies the above-mentioned thesis through research on cases in the four developed countries, providing reference basis on suggestions for government's policy-making.Part Four mainly analyzes the development status and general features of middle class in our country, which provides supporting evidence for both theoretical and practical decision-making.Part Five is about strategy suggestions, which proposes relevant suggestions on policies about how to develop middle class in the four perspectives including politics, economy, urban development and social mechanism based on the analysis above.
