China has always been a multi-religious co-existence country, how to properly deal with the religious issues has had an increasingly important role for the stability of the country's reunification. So the historical and criticism religious policies and scientific research with which is increasingly becoming a rather far-reaching significance subject of the times. Based on this, this picture trying to make a comb on the development of the evolution of the Chinese religious policies. The main methods are inductive analysis, the theory of goal management, and the comparative analysis. Examine the status of religious policies and the possible problems.In this study, China's religious policies is not only understanding and views on religion of the party and government, but also including the regulations, departmental rules, local laws and regulations, autonomous regions and specific regulations introduced by the central government. Religious policy objectives can be divided into four levels, which are ultimate goal of the ruling party, current target of the ruling party, the target of the central government, local government target, respectively. Chinese administrative system is a unitary and centralized system. Communist Party's governing capacity mainly through the leadership of the national legislative activities embodies. The legislative process is actually means of a control of Communist to achieve the management and organization of social life.Invested national laws, local laws and prospectus of religion organizations, it can be concluded:freedom of belief does not equal religious freedom. Religious bodies must undergo a rigorous double audit system if they want to get legal qualification. In addition to the five major religions system, the religious bodies, such as folk religion, new religions and the Christian Family Church, are hard to get legal qualification under the current circumstances. Legal equality of all religions is still difficult to achieve under the current policy. Local governments take the acquiescence of the laissez-faire and the ban of cracking down side by side. Lack of a complete system of policies on religions.
