Mao Zedong's cultural philosophy is a branch of all his philosophy thought. It was Chinese communists represented by Mao Zedong who were sticking to upholding the basic principle of Marxism with the specific realities of China, which put on the verge of degeneration of the semi-colonial and semi-feudal old china into a new socialist dependent China and created a miracle in the history of China's development only 80 years.Mao Zedong's cultural philosophy is formed in the process of upholding Marxist philosophy with the concrete realities of China. But this integration was very difficult, not simple or casual contact. When Marxism had just introduced into China, a lot of people asserted that it didn't comply with China's national condition. However, when the controversy between Chinese and western cultural had risen to the level of philosophy, cultural philosophy appeared. But this dispute was based on the understanding of Chinese and western cultures, circumflex or appraise but both had bias. It was very few people who focused on the meeting point of Chinese and western cultures. How to deal with relationship between Marxism and Chinese culture, western culture and Chinese culture had become a historic issue. In this case, Chinese communists represented by Mao Zedong, through the deep understanding of culture, found out the meeting point of Marxism and Chinese culture at last. Mao Zedong combined the Marxist cultural philosophy with the characteristics of China, thus he had created a philosophy culture with Chinese characteristics. Meanwhile he enriches and develops Marxist's cultural philosophy.
