At present, Chinese national unity, social harmony and stability, socialist reforms and construction are well under way, but we can not ignore the dangerous factors which may influence our state unity, such as Tibet Lhasa "3.14" events, Xinjiang Urumqi "7.5" events and Sichuan ganzi luhuo "1.23" events. So mall number of separatists and international anti-China forces against this background, that nationality unity education becomes necessary and urgent.Back in1994, China began to carry out nationality knowledge education in primary and secondary schools in Tianjin which has achieved good results. Since2000, this education has achieved nation widely. All primary and secondary schools in China in the years of national unity education practice, has been the goal of education for national unity, content, the implementation of the methods for a positive exploration, the accumulation and sum up experience. But today, many people still on national unity education concept, the necessity and the importance of how to improve the effect of national unity education problems such as fuzzy even exist the wrong ideas. Base on consulting a large number of literature, and on the basis of four middle school to serve, Dali prefecture national middle school, a few middle school teachers and students of the investigation, hope by the national unity education present situation ceremony of middle school of understanding, and find the shortage and problems, and put forward some suggestions.I divided this essay into four parts.Firstly, I introduce the topic selection reason, the research significance, the theoretical basis, and the core concept, research methods and ideas. And overview of the national unity education related literature.Secondly, I introduce the present situation of national unity education in Dali middle schools. This part includes three aspects. Such as the teachers and leaders think of national unity education, the students'national unity consciousness and schools national unity education situation.Thirdly, I analyze the problems and reasons of national unity education in Dali city middle school.Finally, I put forward some suggestions from which people who work in Dali middle school know how to make this special education work well.
