With the globalization,the acceleration of the informationization process,the implementation of the bridgehead strategy and the continuous advancement of the“The Belt and Road” initiative,national unity has become a matter of great concern to the state.The national promotion of the national unity and progress demonstration zone is in response to this development needs.Important initiatives.The most fundamental thing in strengthening national unity is to strengthen cultural identity and form a sense of the Chinese nation's community.Therefore,to carry out the construction of the demonstration zone,it is necessary to enhance the national culture and Chinese cultural identity of all ethnic groups,build a common spiritual home,and build up the awareness of the Chinese nation community.As an important means to promote multicultural exchange and integration,multicultural education plays an irreplaceable role in the construction of the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone.M County of Yunnan Province is one of the Yunnan border counties.There are many ethnic minorities in the county.Each ethnic group has its own unique national culture.It not only has rich multicultural resources,but also is one of the demonstration villages of national unity and progress in Yunnan Province.Successful experience,innovative approach,typical,representative and reference.This study takes M County as a case,and tries to use the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to study the overall situation of the national unity and progress demonstration zone in the county from the perspective of multicultural education.Research.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the policy background of the construction of the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone in M County,and on the basis of its development process,it summarizes the experience and achievements of the construction,discusses the existing problems and shortcomings,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions to further promote M.The construction of the county national unity and progress demonstration zone has reached a new level,providing reference and reference forthe in-depth development of the district in Yunnan Province and other similar regions of the country.This study consists of the following six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly includes research reasons,literature review,related concepts and theoretical basis,research design and so on.The second chapter is to sort out the background of the construction of the demonstration area and the development process of the construction of the demonstration area of M County.First of all,from the macro level,it expounds the background of the construction of China's national unity and progress demonstration zone,and interprets and analyzes relevant policy texts.Secondly,from the micro level,we try to clarify the development stage and work focus of the construction of the national unity and progress demonstration zone in M County.The third chapter expounds M County's multi-cultural education as the main line,and carries out the overall situation of the construction of the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone,focusing on the value and role of multicultural education in the construction of the M County National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone.The fourth chapter condenses the characteristics and achievements of the construction of the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone in M County.Based on the analysis of the status quo of the construction of the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone in M County,the characteristics and achievements of the construction of the demonstration area of the county are summarized.Based on the theory of pluralism of Chinese nation and the theory of multicultural education,the fifth chapter deeply analyzes the problems existing in the process of building the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone in M County and discusses the main causes of the problems.The sixth chapter puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the existing problems,and looks forward to the development vision of the construction of the National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone in M County.
