Wu shu, a magnificent treasure of traditional Chinese culture, presents a spirited tenacity in a long history in China, In order to better the traditional heritage carried forward, Wu shu has been incorporated into'National wide University, high school and primary school Physical Education Syllabus'as a whole. Has so far formed an important part of school physical education. Physical Education Class is not only enriched the content of teaching and enrich student life, sports culture, enhance their physique, but also to promote china's traditional sports culture, cultivate student's patriotism with other sports irreplaceable role. Dalian, located the Southern LiaoDong Peninsula, connects the Northeast of China and the world. According to the central authorities of Dalian, which is establishing Dalian into an important international shipping center of Northeast Asia's strategic location. Dalian municipal government provides a bright and long-perspective strategy ---"Development based on the harbor economy" that promote harbor industry and aviation industry. Not only is Dalian a window towards the world, but also a shortcut to acknowledge Wu Shu. The pivotal role of courses related to Wu Shu, has generated direct impact on the further development of Wu Shu as a whole.The advancement would generate a direct impact on the trend of Wu Shu that plays a pivotal role in the innovation in the campus in Dalian.This essay demonstrates the research result through literature, questionnaire, expert interviews and statistics, facing 16 senior high schools within 4 districts in Dalian that fully acknowledged the current development of Wu Shu, conclude the disadvantages to middle schools, provided reasonable solutions and finally promote a better theoretical basis to Wu Shu class in high school for modern physical education in Dalian.Through investigation and analysis of Dalian Middle Schools teaching situation, some crucial problems being solved should be stressed as following:Teaching contents is out of fashionable, lacking of outstanding reference books could be used in current activities of teaching;Lack of qualified teacher resource;Insufficient understanding to Wu Shu for potential students;Lack of related facilities in the training court;Lack of enough attention for the management level of schools;Lack of opportunities for Wu Shu competitions and performances;Lack of essential and effective evaluation system;Some solutions and suggestion listed as following:Optimizing the content of teaching resource and collect outstanding reference books;Introducing dominant trainers and fertilizing teaching team;Enchanting ideological and moral education to Wu Shu;Perfecting the construction of training court and improving utilization rate of training court and related facilities;Enhancing awareness of management level to Wu Shu;Cherishing the opportunities to competition and campus interchange activities.Establishing evaluation system and appraising outstanding demo class.
