Research For Change Of Custom Culture During The Course Of Rural Modernization

Lengshuigou village is a plain village in north area of China,which has similar customs with most other villages in this area.Because it is next to Jinan City,its customs have a faster change than these villages far from cities. In the time when the People's Republic of China hadn't been built,villagers of Lengshuigou lived on agriculture,the village was a traditional village,it had dense custom atmosphere,these customs expressed villagers'faith and sense of worth,which were principally folk circulation of chinese traditional culture,including confucianism,buddhism and daoism.Villagers thank highly of family ethics,which also be reflected in customs.When the Republic of China was built,in order to get rid of feudal and superstition and carry out new civilization,government carried out a series of policies and got some results.But,for the reason that temporal government hold a equivocal attitude to traditional culture,folk beliefs and customs didn't have big change.Then experiencing land law and Anti-Japanese War,the folk beliefs in Lengshuigou village by no mean be destroyed.Till the People's Republic of China being built,people had fanatical socialism passion,no one could escape from the political atmosphere which spread the whole nation,customs of Lengshuigou village had strong political colour.After reform and opening-up,China put socialist market economy into practice,villagers'value had tremendous change, being accompanied by promotion of modernization process,Lengshuigou village's customs have historical transform,the process of custom changing is faster and more intense.In the general,this article is divided into four parts:Part one:Introduction,mainly introduce the meaning and the origin of the research.Part two:Background of the research which is composed by two parts.As follows,"the summary of the related researches" and "the object of the research methods in this article".Part three:Using time slinks, describe character of civil customs in different periods of Lengshuigou village,and attempt to explain the changes of custom culture from modernization view.Part four:The enlightenment of new century,as summary and discussion part.
