As an old sport, shot putting has a long history. It is a collection of technology, strength, power, speed and as one of the track and field sports. The whole shot putting technology includes preparation action, the sliding action, the last push action and the end action. Among all the parts, the last push is a complicated action. Most of the body parts is simultaneous movement. The last push stage is the main stage of throwing, to the accelerated level of apparatus, the last push of most items can achieve 70% - 85% of speed out of hand.Shot putting belongs to speed-strength item. Strength is one of the most important qualities of shot-putter, and special strength is the most important power in the whole strength training. Strength training in the excellent shot-putter, the special strength is always the most important position. The text will look up all kinds of literature and more related experiments, through researching the training methods of left side support technique in the high-level shot-putting athletes of Ocean University of China. We use the SEMG technology among left side techniques in the last push of shot putting, special strength training methods and special strength training apparatus. We summarize muscles mobilization characteristics in the back sliding of left side techniques in the last push of shot putting.Study result: compared with general strength training method-----Shoulder barbell-rod body to turn and hand-held barbells-slice in the body swing to swivel, using the special strength apparatus, SEMG of each muscle have obvious increase, force sequence and active direction of force more close to the related technical parameters of the left side support of shot putting.
