| In recent years, more and more scholars have been studying on learning strategies applied by high school students. With great advocation of quality-oriented education, teaching students efficient learning strategies has been considered as effective ways to reduce students'study load and greatly improve teaching quality. However, cognitive strategies as the core of learning strategies are directly related to the learning process. Meanwhile, it is important to help students in grasping learning strategies.On the basis of the theory of foreign language learning strategies, starting with intelligence factors, the students of grade three in the high school are taken as the subject of the study to study the influence of intelligence factors on cognitive strategies. The major research findings are as follows:The use of cognitive learning strategies for high school students is unsatisfied. They lack the consciousness of employing cognitive strategies. Then how to cultivate their attention strategy, repetition and memory strategy, elaboration strategy, coding and organizing strategy and mother tongue transfer strategy? This thesis proposes feasible corrective measures.Though the research, English teachers of high school who realize the importance of cognitive strategies and apply them into teaching process. Then teachers cultivate students' consciousness of employing cognitive strategies in the process of English learning, help them become autonomous learners so as to reach the purpose of promoting English teaching. |
