As is clearly required in the Curriculum Reform Compendium of Elementary Education (trial), it is necessary to reform the methods of presenting teaching materials, the methods of learning, teaching and interacting between teachers and students. Moreover, information technology should be made full use of to provide students with various educational environments and effective learning tools. Internet technology, the core of information technology, creates a network combining images, words, sounds and forms for education, which fully shows the features of the network-based learning pattern such as great capacity, fast rhythm and high efficiency. Currently, it is regarded as important and popular to study how a new learning pattern based on network can be formed. Therefore, the author tries her best to do some research into a network-based interactive learning pattern in biology class. This research consists of introduction and the body part. Introduction mainly focuses on the background, the current situation, the purpose and the significance of the research. The body part is composed of four chapters.Chapter One explores the meaning and principles of network-based interactive learning in biology class, gives a review of the literature and also introduces some theories on which the research is based.Chapter Two conducts a questionnaire in students'competence in using computers and their views on network and network-based biology teaching. The result of the questionnaire suggests that most students hold positive attitudes towards network-based biology teaching, which is beneficial to its application. Finally, network is applied to biology class teaching to see what effect it has on the interaction between teachers and students.Chapter Three analyzes the effect of the application of network-based interactive learning. The comparison of the students'academic performances between the experimental class and the control class proves that it can improve the methods of learning, motivate the students to learn actively and ensure students'high learning efficiency.Chapter Four deals with the conclusion of the one-year application. The research demonstrates that interactive learning methods can develop students'interest in learning, enhance teachers'leading role, establish students-centered class, accelerate teachers'specialization development and also promote students'information literacy, thus contributing to better teaching results. Also the limitations and recommendations for the further research are included at the end of the research. |
