Along with the extensive use of camera & video camera in wedding ceremony, the lens developed to an un-negligible existence. Looking back on the past wedding study, may it be expressed by point of ceremony view in anthropology, cultural study in folklore, or social change in sociology.But study into lens's influence on wedding ceremony is non-existent.This article stands on the point view of lens and divide it into staticl camera lens, dynamic vedio camera lens and projector lens which gradually used in wedding, and intended to analyse their appearance, form,and associated meaning.The author take the wedding procedure in Kunming as an example, to discuss the forming of this procedure and relationship between lens and wedding ceremony. By observing wedding photograph before the wedding,people's behaviour in front of camera during the wedding, showing of wedding video and photograph after the wedding, a deep analysis of lens choosing is presented in this paper. Besides, it come up with analysis to the concealed cause of lens using in the wedding from point of Symbol consumption.The substance of the lens consumption in wedding ceremony is a self-identity way to status,fortunes,individual and groups.From people's normal behaviour, to performance in front of the camera,.By using the theory of Goffman's conception of stage performance, this paper analyse performance existence,performance form,and performer's psychology on the wedding.By research,the author finds that lens using in wedding is closely attached to development of society; it also changes the procedure of wedding, and exerts influence on society development in the last. From no-exist to exist, and variety, display a symbol of social development.,while society development also has impacts on the lens,which provide both material and economic basis and influence behaviour of people in front of the camera.
