The research analyzes the undergraduates'Marxism view based on the survey of the undergraduates in Shandong University, describing the content of undergraduates' Marxism view, summarizing its characteristics and the problems it reflects, helping the undergraduates to establish and stick to the scientific Marxism view by studying these problems and promoting new ideas on the education of the Marxism view. Generally speaking, the so-called Marxism view is the basic opinions about Marxism. Specifically, it at least contains two different but connected parts, opinions on what is Marxism and opinions on how to treat it.The author launched a survey of the undergraduates' Marxism view in Shandong University through questionnaire and interview. The survey experienced five procedures, collecting data, designing, proving and revising the questionnaire; giving out and collecting questionnaire; checking, classifying and analyzing the materials, processing in mind; examining and assessing the results. The data are authentic, reliable and comprehensive.Based on the results of the survey, the thesis first investigates the undergraduates' understanding of Marxism. Then it summarizes the content of their view on Marxism. The thesis explains undergraduates'opinions on "what is Marxism" from ten aspects: basic content of the undergraduates views on generation of Marxism, basic content of views on meaning, basic content of views on development, basic content of views on essence, basic content of views on characteristic, basic content of views on modality, basic content of views on form, basic content of views on meaning, basic content of views on system, basic content of views on function, basic content of views on destiny; and then it demonstrates their opinions on "how to treat Marxism" from six aspects: basic content of views on faith, basic content of views on drumbeating, basic content of views on study, basic content of views on exertion, basic content of views on championship, basic content of views on insistence and development. Secondly, the thesis summarizes ten characteristics and problems that undergraduates'views of Marxism reflect:generally speaking, undergraduates keep clear mind on Marxism; seven dimensionality exerts different influences on the form and the change of undergraduates'views of Marxism; undergraduates very share practice; undergraduates hold positive attitudes on how to treat Marxism; undergraduates only understand the basic knowledge of Marxism; subconsciously, undergraduates subconsciously overlook details; they are quite pessimistic; they have bias on politics; undergraduates lack sufficient knowledge on what is Marxism; for undergraduates, there is also lots of problems on how to treat Marxism. The thesis analyzes the problems of undergraduates'views on Marxism from three perspectives, the invasion of the international capitalistic ideology and culture, the influence of juncture periods and historical factors, as well as the shortcoming of the current education of Marxism for undergraduates.Finally, the thesis provides innovative ideas on the definition of the educational purpose of Marxism, the analysis on the science and the class nature of Marxism as an ideology, remedying defects of the undergraduates views on education of Marxism, improving the paths of the undergraduates views on education of Marxism, and strengthening the education of scientific Marxism on undergraduates from aspects like enhancing the research and observation of undergraduates'views on Marxism.
