The article bases on long-term vision, traces the Pre-Qin period, down to the contemporary, focuses on the stage of Chinese ancient and modern education, through the description and comparison of three dimensions about the educational concept, the educational thought and the educational system , we discuss the transformation of Chinese education from"learning"-centered to"teaching"-centered from Chinese ancient to After Republic of China and illustrate the process and reasons in the transformation of Chinese educational"center"in detail. If this conclusion can be established, we not only can enrich our understanding about the history of development of Chinese education, but also can develop the Chinese education history subject in depth. Meanwhile, the development of Chinese contemporary education reform also will have some reference.In part one, through the discussion of topic reasons and significance, the study characteristic and innovation point of the paper that the transformation of Chinese education"center"is extended from the perspective of the history of education to the entire history of education field are pointed out.In part two, ancient Chinese education with"learning"-centered is discussed in terms of the educational concept, educational thought and educational system.In part three, the education after the Republic of China with"teaching"-centered is discussed in terms of the educational concept, educational thought and educational system.In part four, the process of transformation in Chinese education"center"is discussed in detail, and the reasons are analyzed profoundly, then the certain conclusion is obtained: the traditional educational thought is the basis and internal cause; the foreign culture is the external cause and condition; the development of Chinese education practical activity is the decisive force in the transformation.In part five, in view of the above discussion of Chinese education"center"transformation, the reform of contemporary education in China should be put under the leadership of Chinese communist, take Chinese traditional education idea emphasized"learning"as the foundation and absorb the excellent education resources from other countries to construct"a learning society"of socialism with Chinese characteristics diligently.
