Research On "Sino American 1+2+1 Dual-Degree Program"

Now, Higher Education of Internationalization is the world trend, many countries regard the development of higher education internationalization as a strategic national approach, many countries are also working to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in higher education.The "Sino-American 1+2+1 Dual-Degree Program" organized and administrated by China Education Association of International Education(CEAIE),China Center of International Educational Exchange(CCIEE)and American Association of States Colleges and Universities(AASCU), is a new form of international educational cooperation with two-way student and faculty exchanges of Chinese and American universities. The contents of this program conclude:Two-way Exchange of Students and Faculty Members,Credit and Degree Recognition,Academic Plans and Curriculum Development,Cooperation and Development on Special Subjects. Basis on the content of the program still developed some other various forms, such as:construction of the Confucius Institute, Cooperation between Cities in China and the United States and Exchanges.This thesis is to explore the background of the program, to excavate the content, implementation, characteristics and implementation effects of the program, to bring the enlightenment of the program, to promote the exchanges and cooperation in higher education between China and American towards the healthy and orderly direction.
