In the recent years, the stud in using English learning strategies are one of the hot topics in the field of the educational research and the study of learning strategies of the students with learning disability is the most important one. There was a positive correlation between English learning strategies and English learning effect, so the research on learning strategies of the students with learning disability will be helpful to the study of their education and transform. At present, although there are a few studies of the minority students'English learning strategies, there are almost none of the researches which are mainly designed for the Korean minority high school students.The paper chose the Yanbian Korean minority senior high school students with learning disability as the general of the research and Tumen No.1 senior high school is the research object. The statistical software is SPSS17.0, According to the Cognitive theory, the Constructivists' Idea of Learning and transfer theory, the paper mainly used the ways of literature, surveys, interviews, statistical analysis and comparison method, carried out the research from the following four aspects:1. A survey of the situation that senior high school students with learning disability of using the English learning strategies.2. A comparative in the use of. learning strategies between students with learning disability and excellent students.3. A survey on the differences of the learning strategies between the students in Han senior high school and Korean minority senior high school.4. An analysis of the problems of the students with learning disability in using English learning strategies and the related factors that made the students form learning strategies。Through the statistical analysis, the results of the research are as following:1. The situation of the students with English learning disability is so generic. The using model is emotional strategy (2.887)â†'ognitive strategy (2.811)â†'esource strategy (2.659)â†'ommunication strategy (2.605)â†'eta-cognitive strategy (2.601). Among them, meta-cognitive strategy is the lowest and it is also the most obvious one when the differences in the use of strategy between the learning disability and excellent students are compared.2. There exist remarkable differences (P<0.01) in English achievements between Han senior high school and Korean minority senior high school. Han school is better than Korean minority school, especially in resource strategy. It shows great significant differences (P<0.001) in the strategy between the learning disability and excellent students. The excellent students are clearly better than the students with.learning disability.3.64.9% of the surveyed students are so poor in Chinese level that they can't use it freely and the frequency of the usage of related items is lower.4. In the survey, there are up to 84.2% learning disability students who are not living with their parents. On the contrary, there are only 43.8% excellent students in Korean minority school and 18.3% students in Han school.On the basis of the results of this research and the related theories, the paper reached the following conclusion:1. The situation of the Korean minority students with English learning disability is so generic. The meta-cognitive strategy is the weakest one embodying that the students with learning disability don't pay attention to the evaluation of their learning methods and are good at using English to communicate, and their learning level is a bit low.2. The significant difference between the learning disability and excellent students is that the learning disability haven't master the scientific learning methods and widening learning.92.1% of the excellent students can use the scientific methods to do widening learning, but 38.8% of the learning disability students can't.3. The Korean-Chinese bilingualism and the backgrounds of the Korean national culture have negative effects on the English learning strategy. The level of Chinese influences the use of communication strategy and resource strategy of the learning disability students.4. The family environment have certain effect on the use of the English learning strategies. Living with parents together has a positive influence on the strategy of the learning disability students. The incomplete family structure has negative effects on the English learning strategy.
