English teaching should base on student’s psychological activity, which combinecognitive and affective expression. It also strives to combine skills and methods, emotional attitudes and values. Therefore, in the development and the curriculumreform of basic education, the most important stage is the mature of student’s worldview and outlook on life. So paying attention to the slow learners has an outstandingsignificance. The implementation of emotional education is an inevitable trend. As the curriculum reform is carried out, high school English teaching mode haschanged from the traditional teacher-centered to student-centered. People always stayin the change of teaching method and selection of teaching material. But they neglecton the students’ emotional factors. Gradually, the psychological problems have arisen, such as tension, anxiety and the lack of self-confidence. How to overcome it? How tolet the students have more confidence, a clear learning motivation and goal? This is thecurrent problem to be appeared in front of us. In order to enhance the students’ Englishachievements, we must think about some strategies and help them divorced from themisunderstanding of affective disorders.I attempt to apply non-intelligence factors to English teaching practice in thepaper, which contains45students’ investigations. The questionnaire investigation, statistics and face to face interview are also included in the paper. By comparing withwhat they do before and the program with what they do afterwards, I make thecorresponding records. During the reflection to re-examine my own teaching ideas, theteaching methods are improved, which also contributes a lot to the improvement of theslow learners’ efficiency as well as my teaching process.
