| The teaching conceptions held by teacher decide the teacher's behavior in their teaching. Teachers will certainly adopt different teaching methods in the daily teaching own to the teaching conceptions of different tendency, thus teaching with different effect will be aroused, course implementation of qualities will be aroused either. Finally it will affect promoting of education for all-round development, influence the student's overall development with characteristic development. The teacher's teaching conceptions is comprehension and hold about teaching influenced by certain education theory and formed, developed and expressed in the process of teaching practices of oneself. According to the course reform in the senior high school, Phenomenography-describing was taken as theory foundations; questionnaire was implemented to the conditions and differences among high school teachers'teaching conceptions in Hami region, Xinjiang. And some characteristics of high school teacher's teaching conception were found as follows:1. From the overall, senior high school teachers in Hami agree interactive orientation of teaching. But meanwhile, inculcative orientation of teaching and examination-oriented educational conceptions was retained in different extent.2. Among the teachers of different teaching ages, the teacher with 11-20 teaching years have the obvious conceptions not only in interactive orientation of teaching but also inculcative orientation of teaching and the attitude they hold close to complete consent.3. Between the two nationalities or two type of school, bilingual school (minority teachers) hold the more obvious inculcative orientation of teaching than Han senior high school (Han nationality teachers) and no different attitude exist on interactive orientation of teaching.4. There exist differences among the teachers who teach the different subjects. But the most obvious is that science teachers express obviously in inculcative orientation of teaching and art teachers have evident performance on interactive orientation of teaching.5. Between different grades, teachers of graduating class hold more obvious inculcative orientation of teaching; these teachers still hold large degree of acceptance to the exam-oriented attitude.Based the circumstance above, the thesis afford some advices include the inner part and exterior suggestion through conversations and analysis in order to improve teachers'teaching conceptions in Hami region. |
