The reforms of new course give an impetus to the reforms of Entrance Examinations to Secondary School .The two reforms mainly aim at improving the quality-oriented education, stopping examinations-oriented education, and developing high-quality talents, changing the fact that the schools unilaterally seek the proportion of students entering schools of a higher grade. The purpose of the article is to probe into the results and the problems existed under the 2005 Entrance Examinations to Secondary School and to look forward to the future .Research methods used in the article mainly include documents, interviews and questionnaires. The research result shows that the reforms of Entrance Examinations to Secondary School bring forth new ideas in appraisal mechanism and have a development in appraisal theories. However, practically, due to the objective elements the reforms of Examinations to Secondary School drift off its course and the substantial results are not satisfactory. Therefore, in the future when we deepen the reforms of Entrance Examinations to Secondary School, we should find ways to gradually overcome the problems that restrains the reforms of Entrance Examinations to Secondary School, thus, guarantee the results of the reforms of Entrance Examinations to Secondary School and realize the new aims of both the reforms of new course and the reforms of Entrance Examinations to Secondary School.
