Social network that is Social Networking Service is designed to help people build social networks based on Internet social network service platform. Social networking sites in popularity in the United States since 2004, since 2005, gradually spread throughout China. Social networking is a product of the development of new media technology, the use of social networking sites have become a new communication during the new media phenomenon, so explore the social network to change the impact of the group is particularly important. This study used a fixed sample survey method, research on Chinese college students use social networking behavior. Strong representation of researchers of the University 500 undergraduate students at the university conducted a survey, study of the students on the basic use of social networking, social networking interpersonal communication on college students, psychology of learning life. Conclusion that, social network to meet the needs of students interpersonal, help students successfully toward socialization; display space for college students to develop themselves to meet the psychological needs of all students; real social environment, rich human communication can help students achieve self-awareness, meanwhile, university students which led to excessive use of social networking social networks have become increasingly prominent psychological dependence; gray information in social networks spread easily to ideas of college students have a certain influence. I frame the context of social network theory of ideological and political education system:Marxism and human nature and all-round development of the theory, communication theory, use and meet the guiding theory; draws on psychological theories of motivation.
