The Investigation And Research About Development Ent Of Skiing Tourism In Shanxi

Human society has developed to an unprecedented level with prosperous economy and abundant material products, and people's living standard is also improved, followed by people's gradual pursuit of spiritual civilization. As a result, tourism becomes an important way for people to relax and release stress during their leisure time. The people-oriented idea of the 21st century makes people pay more attention to the healthy lifestyle physical exercise, as a means of entertainment and health promotion, is showing its increasingly significant value. Sports, in the process of industrilizing, are also experiencing transformation from traditional single industry to modern multi-industry. At the same time, people begin to focus on the goal of advancing life quality and gaining the balance between physical and mental health. Therefore, sports tourism, as an important way for people to obtain the feeling of entertaining and promote physical and mental health, becomes a new growing point in the development of sports industry.This study made an investigation to the ski tourism of Shanxi province through literature, questionnaire, logical analysis and mathematical statistics. The result showed:The people in Shanxi participating in skiing tourism, whose ages overall showed the tendency of higher in middle and lower in the ends; the proportion of male to female had no significant difference; most people worded in enterprises, institutions, or were college students; the number and education of the people participating in tourism improved. Motivation for participation in skiing tourism of ranking first was mitigating spiritual and work pressure, and adjusting the spirit. The tourists went mainly by buying team tickets. There were fewer people buying the tickets on their own, and most of them were from Taiyuan; most choices of means of transportation were self-driving; people left the condition of skiing resort of Taiyuan through the introduction of their friends. More people went with their colleagues and friends than by themselves or joining the tourist team; the worst evaluation for the facilities of the skiing resorts was the serving attitude, which led to tourists'decreasing satisfaction with the tourism.Recommendations:Skiing tourism in Shanxi province should make full use of the media and advertisement to comprehensively introduce ski tourism and the existing ski tourism products; strengthen the construction of transportation, communications and facilities of ski tourism; build the comprehensive ski tourism destination to extend the touring time; introduce the high-level and professional talent into ski tourism, or send employees to gain short-term training in the domestic and foreign institutions to improve their existing level of business and professional qualities; the tourism sector and the sports sector should collaborate and make full use of natural, historical and cultural resources to promote the development of ski tourism; pay attention to the combination of ski tourism development and protection, so as to maintain the sustainable development of ski tourism, and make the plan of sustainable development.
