With the diversification of school-running system, the education industry is facing more severe competition. The old Chinese saying'the high quality wine can sell well even if it is in an alley'can no longer meet the need of the development of market economy. Setting up a good brand image can make a school outstanding in the competition. In the future, the society will become one in which information develops rapidly. In such an information society, no matter what forms of information dissemination are used,'reading'the primary means for individuals to access different kinds of information.'Reading'is a kind of complex psychological process through which information can be turned into individual perception. This paper chose extensive reading as the base of brand creation because reading extensively is the core of students'qualities. The purpose is to study and strengthen school reading education by building brand. Taking the core concept of cultivating talents who have happy life,'extensive reading education'is used as the breaking through point to build the school education brand, constantly improve the image of the school, and promote sustainable development of the school. While this paper was being written, Suzhou Sanyuan Experimental Primary School is used as the test site. The theory of brand creation is applied in the management of this school. In just one year, the concept of'extensive reading brand'has been accepted provisionally by the teachers, students and parents.
