The competence movement opened in 1970s has not only brought along the study on competency in management, but also produced an effect on teachers competence in educational world. The research on competence in pedagogy, psychology and human resources management laid a theoretical foundation on study competence for teachers, which has greatly promoted the research on the teachers'psychology. Recently, researchers explored the competence of various teachers. This essay constructed Middle School Teachers competency dictionary by employing thematic analysis and BEI (behavioral event interview) technology. The program has recorded 20 in the method of semi-structured interview, employed exploratory factor analysis, and summarized 4 dimensions. They are Streak, Occupational Attitude, Construction of teacher-student Relationship and Teaching Management. The Streak includes tolerance and patient, Occupational Attitude includes career loving and lead by example, Construction of teacher-student Relationship includes a comprehensive understanding of students, care for students, communication skills and criticism of student, and Teaching Management includes professional knowledge and ability to control the class. This concludes my Competency Dictionary of middle school teachers.In addition, the research on middle school teachers competent in Changchun City found that: (1)Middle school teacher competency is in the middle and upper class, and the record of communication skills is lowest while care for students highest. (2)With the growth of teaching experience, competency of middle school teachers'score higher. (3)The different disciplines, education black and area of middle school teachers show no differentiation on competence.
