Classroom teaching assessment is to assess the value of teaching activity in one class, which can improve classroom teaching and promote teachers'and students'development. The majority classroom teaching assessments we know are"open class", the teacher and students are assessed by others. But we know, in the normal class, no others, the teacher and the students are the masters of assessment, especially the teacher. Therefore, researching the teacher's classroom teaching assessment view is helpful to know the actual class.This research chose the rural junior middle school of F town in HLJ province for a case. We adopt interview and classroom observation to research English teachers'view of classroom teaching assessment. We discovered that there are some defects in their views, such as fuzzy understanding of classroom assessment, ignore the students, use the result irrelevancy, etc. The formation of classroom teaching assessment view needs a long time, and it is affected by lots of factors. For example, their learning styles, their former teachers'teaching styles, their teaching experiences, the research activities in their school, their training information and so on.To improve English teachers'view of classroom teaching, English teachers need learning and introspection, their schools should hold some activities for classroom teaching assessment, and Education Department must provide effective training. |
