It has been widely accepted that the quality of fundamental education especially on the stage of elementary and junior school is essential to a nation. The teachers have taken significant commitment to ensure the success on not only their individual instruction but also the entire education industry. Therefore, reinforcing subjective teaching characteristics including the teachers' senses of commitment, efficiency and belongings become crucial training targets of the instructors. This paper conducts a survey implementing a carefully prepared questionnaire on 855 randomly sampled individuals serving in 10 elementary and junior schools surrounding Shi Jiazhuang. The survey is objected to expose the correlation among the teachers characteristics. The analysis of the result indicates:1) The general teaching efficiency is good2) Variance of teaching efficiency is observed when the teacher serves as the head of a class; whereas similar variance cannot be noticed if only take the teachers' background into consideration, e.g. gender, age, education level, teaching grade, origin, teaching subjects etc.3) The general teachers' senses of commitment are good but variance can be found on different personal features such as gender, teaching experience, education level, origins, whether or not the head of a class.4) The general teachers' sense of belonging are good, and the variance exists on teachers' gender, age, teaching experience and teaching grades.5) A significant positive correlation is found between teaching efficiency and teacher's sense of commitment, which means high efficiency is associated with better sense of commitment.6) A significant positive correlation is found between teachers' senses of belonging and commitment.7) A significant positive correlation is found between teacher's sense of belonging and the teaching efficiency8) The teaching efficiency and teacher's sense of belonging contribute coordinately to the sense of commitment.
