The Development And Application Of Experimental Teaching Website Based On Process Management

As the fast development of multimedia technology and network technology, the application of network teaching becomes more and more popular. The network education has the advantages of freedom of time and space, resource sharing, open systems, easy to collaborate and so on, which takes the computer network technology as support. The experimental teaching website based on process management, as a kind of network education mode ,not only has advantages of network education, but gives full play to the guidance and supervision of teachers in traditional teaching mode, combines modern information technology with the thought of process management, cultivates autonomous learning ability, collaborative learning ability, learning ability and self management of students, increases students'study enthusiasm to improve the quality of teaching.This article investigated and analyzed the present situation of computer experimental teaching in University at first, and found problems to be solved immediately in the process of experimental teaching. For problems mentioned above, proposed that, supervise experimental teaching activities in process based on network platform, so as to achieve the management and control in teaching process, and improve the teaching quality. Be inspired by constructivism learning theory, information science theory, and the modern teaching theory, proposed design concept of experimental teaching website based on process management. The core ideology is"take the learner as the center, take the learning process as the center, take the technology as study tools", according to the concept, developed the experimental teaching website based on the process management.In the process of website's design and development, first of all, conducted system requirement analysis, gave the overall design scheme of the system, designed and analyzed each functional modules the system in details, and described the database design of the system. Design and Implementation of the teaching website, utilizing ASP, VBScript, SQL Server and IIS as web development platform, using the B/S network architecture, combined with the characteristics of process management. Designed three different user roles according to the different demands of users, which are teacher, student and administrator, and provide different functions for different roles, includes online exercises, online test/exam, question generation and management, online communications, students information statistics and so on.In teaching process, has realized that take students as center, in learning process, has implemented that supervise students in process and bring teachers'guidance into play, cultivate innovation ability of students, independent learning ability. In addition, the teaching website also realized that supervise teachers in process and breakthrough traditional teaching mode which takes teachers as centre. The website was applied to public computer courses of experimental teaching and achieved good efficiency, and is expected to extended to other experimental courses.
