The Analysis And Strategy Of Informal Old-age Education In Middle-sized And Small Cities Of Our Country

Old-age education is the product of the times development and social progress and it will inevitably grow up with the development of the times. Old-age education is not only the requirement of the lifelong education and the manifestation of the concept of people-oriented science development, but also is the important measure to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the aged and achieve citizens' participation. The number of the old folks is large, so it is clear that the current development model of old-aged education is unable to meet demands for the education of the old people. The paper illustrates old-age education in a broad perspective and divides the old-age education into formal old-age education and informal old-age education. Because of its particular superiority, informal old-age education is corresponds to the characteristics of the economic development and old people in our country and it's the important way to develop old-age education. By the methods of questionnaire and conversational, this thesis has made an survey of informal old-age education in middle-sized and small cities (Based on the example of Changzhi city, Shanxi province), find the main problems of its development, the problems can be mainly concluded as follows:understanding of informal elder education is inadequate; management system is not smooth; the resources of funds and playground is not enough; development of informal elder education is insufficiency; the participation body is simplified. According to the problem, the author puts forward the corresponding proposal, first of all, to change ideas, strengthen attention; Secondly, to increase national governmental support and investment for informal elderly education; thirdly, to promote the mode of informal eldly education, to realize the unity of body and mind; finally, to realize diversification of the participation.
