The Survey Rearch Of Hui Ethnic Community At Changzhi West Street In Shanxi Province

As is known to all, Hui ethnic community at Changzhi west street has a strong Islamic culture atmosphere as a representative of the central region. The researchment here is of great significance. Either to show the rich picture, or to be seen as an example, the development of the community is greatful. This research based on the investigation and analysis of the community, using the analysis methods of anthropology, ethnology and sociology. And using methods of purposive sampling, cluster sampling, stratified sampling, and encounter sampling, the author tried to get much more interviees to look for data. Also the author used literature search, questionnaire survey, case interviews, participant observation and other research methods to investigate, to collect data to answer the question " what the status at Changzhi Hui ethnic community were and how develope it will in future.". This survey research is divided into four parts. They are "what the social structure is"," what the religion is ","what the ethnic education is" and "what the culture and custom are". But due to living in a relatively closed environment, the community residents are conservative. Their level of education is still in a low state. Even more many young boys and girls here lack of labor skills and can’t work in any company.So this problem has become the key factor in the future development of the community. In the thesis, the author called for the local government, management of religious and residents themselves to do their best to help the young get out of the trouble. Finally through the.Finally, the author made the conclusion that presently, we should make efforts to seek a suitable road for the balance development of economic, religious, social, cultural,,and the Hui ethnic community will be more and more better in the future.
