The function concept is a core concept in middle school mathematics curriculum. However, it is also a middle school mathematics teaching difficulty because of its abstractness and complexity. Along with the implementation of the new curriculum, how to promote the links between junior and senior school mathematics teaching has become a research focus. After junior and high school stages, though already arranged in piecewise and spiraling ways, the function concept teaching is still not satisfactory. Thus, it is very necessary to research the teaching of function concept based on linking up junior math and senior math.Through the review of the documents, this paper combed some related research on math textbook, teaching and learning. Besides, it shows students'status in different learning stages and explores causes of incoherent education by questionnaires and interview. Based on the above research, this paper puts forward some effective teaching strategies.In the end, through teaching cases, teaching strategies above will be applied to the future function concept teaching cohesion. |
