Parent-child relationships as the most important and the most basic of a kind of relation in family, directly affect their children's physical and mental development, and as well as for in a transition phase of adolescents, also plays an important role. Bad parent-child relationships will harm the body and mind of youth development, and adolescents'problem arises. Through the research on the relationship between parents and adolescents, and promotion of the establishment of benign parent-child relationships is of great significance.This article mainly introduces four theories from different angles of parents understanding adolescents. Attachment theory emphasizes the influence of attachment to parents of adolescents in their childhood. Cognitive development theory indicates that adolescents'cognitive changes between parents are the main reason for the change. The family system theory, the family as a system, adolescents will be affected by other members of the family, while the effect of human development ecological theory pulls each environment to be divided into several levels of system, the mutual influence and function in the system of personnel, thus affecting the adolescents'parent-child relationships.Analysis of the study, focuses on three aspects, first is the characteristics of parent-child relationships on adolescents'study,involving the general characteristics, gender identity, grade characteristics. The second aspect is about the study of factors affecting parent-child relationships, including child factors, parental factors, family structure..The third aspect is about the influence of the parent-child relationships on adolescents'development ,including the influence on adolescents socialization , personality development , personality development, and adolescent 's academic performance.In the discussion of the study, mainly found the following five questions:more self-report method and less observation and depth interviews; more cross-sectional study and less longitudinal study; Participants didn't has strong representation; more parent-child conflict and less parent-child affinity; less the localization studies.Finally, from the view of parents and Social support to discuss the methods and recommendations. Parents need to improve the quality of ideas, respect for the child, equality and to strengthen communication, enhance understanding. On the other hand,to ensure physical and mental health of young people we can establish a series of parent education schools, and promoting education reform, speed up change in educational philosophy.
