With the development and change of the times,in the process of China's social development, people's thoughts are more and more affected by the western culture, and the number of single parent families is increasing year by year. The problem of adolescent deviant behavior in these single parent families is becoming more and more concerned by people, especially the close attention of sociologists and social workers.Because of the particularity of the lack of family structure in single parent families, young people living in single parent families often fall into some special difficulties during their growth. For example, fights, skipping classes, addicted games and other deviant behaviors, such as lying, inferiority, isolation, lack of love, low interest in learning, and emotional change and other bad psychological states, these deviations and bad psychological states have brought adverse effects on their life and learning, and if these adverse factors are not available for a long time The improvement will inevitably result in a certain degree of behavioral deviations among children in these special families. It is the unshirkable responsibility of our social workers to help the teenagers in single parent families to eliminate the adverse factors that cause their deviant behavior,to improve their ability to adapt to the environment and to make them happy. The practice of this research mainly comes from my personal experience in the M social work service center in Changchun. At the same time,we are doing a service project to help the children of single parent families to change their deviations. This project is mainly implemented in the T community in Nanguan,Changchun.A total of 10 young people are selected, and social workers help them to use the group social work method of helping people to help themselves and teach people to fish.In the process of helping,we help single parent teenagers get out of the plight of deviations through a series of group work activities, and enable them to deal with problems in life and learning correctly. In this study,by consulting relevant literature, investigating and studying the reasons for the deviation of the adolescents in single parent families and using the group work method to improve the deviant behavior of the adolescents in single parent families. The results show that the adolescents with single parent families have a low bearing capacity in the face of emergencies, and the use of rational emotional therapy to improve the deviant behavior of adolescents in single parent families is effective. The group activities have a significant effect on improving the deviant behavior of the single parent families, but the group activities are also in trouble. In short, the group work method has obvious effect on correcting the deviant behavior of single parent adolescents, and proves the validity of social work theory.
