Teaching strategies arise from the education and teaching practice under the guidance of theories. They are not only the products of theoretical guidance, but also the distillation of teaching practice. By studying the "String problem-concept map" strategy during biology teaching in high school, the author expects to provide some reference methods about how to adapt to the education and teaching practice during the new curriculum reform.The subject begins with the needs for the concept of the new curriculum reform, analyses the possibilities of the teaching mode based on the theories from the psychological and pedagogical perspective, discusses the necessities of adopting the teaching mode as well as the principles and methods during the "teaching-learning" process in the biology class, proposes the procedures and strategies about the "serial questions-concept map" mode, implements the constructed mode and evaluates the teaching effects.. It comes to the conclusion that the strategy can improve students'academic performance, interest, efficiency, level of knowledge and comprehensive ability. It can also promote the formation of biological disciplines and cognitive structure in students.
