The 21 st century is an increasingly information-based era.With the improvement of human living standards,higher requirements for education have been put forward,the society needs new talents who are different from the past.STS is composed of the initials of Science,Technology and Society,and is a discipline that studies the interrelationship between Science,Technology and Society.Then STS education is a Science education that studies the interrelationship between Science,Technology and Society.Biology is a science that studies the life phenomenon and life activity rule,the STS education in the biology curriculum can increase the interest of learning,enhance the students' future consciousness and participation consciousness,improve the ability of learning to use,and improve the biological core accomplishment.In order to understand the implementation status and problems of STS education in high school biology curriculum,and to explain the importance and necessity of STS education,so as to arouse the attention of educators and promote the concrete implementation of STS education in high school biology curriculum.Based on the understanding of the relevant theories and development status of STS education,this paper analyzed and sorted out the STS questions in the recent three years,and clarified the proportion of STS in the biology questions in the college entrance examination.At the same time,the questionnaire was designed,distributed and recovered in chongqing,problems were found through the sorting of the questionnaire and corresponding suggestions were put forward,and problems were found through sorting out the questionnaire and corresponding Suggestions were put forward.Finally,taking the genetics and evolution textbook of high school biology published in 2019 as an example,the STS education content contained in it was sorted out,and the first section of chapter 5,gene mutation and gene recombination,and the third section,human genetic diseases,were taken as examples to design the teaching plan for reference.Based on the analysis of the biology test paper of the college entrance examination in the past three years,it is found that there are STS test questions in every biology test paper,and the average proportion of STS test questions exceeds 40%,and some even exceed 60%,and the proportion of STS test questions in some provinces and cities is increasing year by year.From the context of the question,most STS questions are closely related to real life,mainly including the application of science and technology in society,the progress of biotechnology and personal health.By sorting out the results of the questionnaire,it can be found that teachers have a certain understanding of STS education,while students' cognition is not good,but they are interested in related columns of STS in the textbook.Most teachers and students hold a positive attitude towards STS education.At the same time,the implementation of STS education in biology curriculum is not ideal,most teachers only occasionally infiltrate,the STS related column in the textbook is simply mentioned or even directly ignored,and the number of biological practice activities is not enough.To investigate these reasons,the factors affecting the implementation of STS education include insufficient class hours,insufficient teachers' awareness of STS education,insufficient attention from schools and lack of hardware equipment.In view of these problems,the author puts forward four Suggestions: First of all,we should pay attention to the reasonable allocation of resources and increase the construction of non-urban schools.Secondly,schools should pay more attention to provide support for STS education implementation.At the same time,teachers should change their teaching concept and improve STS educational ability.Finally,we should guide students to change their learning concept and make them cooperate with education and teaching actively.By sorting out the STS related contents in the textbook of genetics and evolution in the human education edition,it can be found that many columns and details in the textbook are effective materials to infiltrate STS education,including side columns,columns,text and exercises,etc.,which can be selected and used by teachers in combination with the actual situation of the school,students and themselves.The number of columns in "science technology society" is increased from 3 to 5.The addition of the word "STS" in the column before "science technology society" is enough to highlight the importance of STS education and the importance that the education department attaches to it.The results show that the college entrance examination biology focuses on the inspection of STS content,and it is important and necessary to infiltrate STS education into high school biology curriculum.However,the current implementation of STS education in most middle schools is not good,and the factors that affect its implementation mainly include class hours,teachers' knowledge reserve and school attention,etc.From the perspective of textbooks,there are many ways to present STS education content in genetics and evolution of high school biology published in the human-education edition in 2019,and the content contained is also rich,so teachers can make full use of it.Comprehensive,whether for the all-round development of students,and the sustainable development of the society,or calls "the ordinary high school biology curriculum standard",the general education teaching workers should strengthen to the attention of the STS education,STS education and will be implemented to every students,improve students STS skills with the core quality,promote the all-round development of students.
