| The basic characteristic of Chinese curriculum is the unity of instrumentalism and humanism. The basic task of Chinese teaching is to improve students'cultivation in Chinese language and their ability to express themselves better and the skills of aesthetic. Where is Chinese teaching going is the main topic of many Chinese experts in the late 20 century. With the development of the new curriculum reform, we think it more and more important to emphasize the characteristic of Chinese language, that is, the characteristic of humanism. However, here comes a new problem: How to highlight the characteristic of humanism? Some teachers bravely give classes to their students, calling their classes"students-oriented", which results in seemingly active classes but actually unrewarding ones. Therefore, some others begin to blame them for neglecting the characteristic of humanism. Finally, opinions divided.As high school students, they have certain reading abilities, and are willing to choose what they like to read. What the teachers should do is to think more about teacher-student dual subject rather than choose something for their students. As we all know, students are the main objectives of study and teachers should motivate their interest in Chinese learning and enable them to generate new ideas; teachers are the instructors in teaching who should adjust students'generative ideas in time and arouse their interest in Chinese learning, thus achieving the objectives of Chinese teaching.The research focuses on arousing students'interest by generating in Chinese reading teaching so as to cultivate their love in Chinese learning and make Chinese classes colorful and meaningful. It includes four chapters. The first chapter explains the concept of generative reading and interest, explores the present research on the topic both at home and abroad and summarizes points of views of some formers researchers. The second chapter analyzes the theoretical significance and practical value of the research from the aspects of improving the efficiency in classroom performance and cultivating students'interest in Chinese learning. In the third chapter, the analysis of the beginning investigation is included and the direction of the research is pointed out. The fourth chapter explains some effective measures taken on the research and the approaches to stimulating students'interest by questioning, evaluating and so on. In appendix are some papers published that are relevant to the research. |
