Research On The Competitiveness Of Sichuan Leisure Sports Industry Based On Factor Analysis

Leisure sports industry as a sunrise industry and emerging industry in China is still at an early stage of development. From the actual situation of the western developed countries and regions, the leisure sports industry is playing an increasingly important role in the regional economic development. Enhancing the competitiveness of leisure sports industry and promoting the development of leisure sports industry have become the focus of attention and pursue. As the fastest economic development in the western China, it has a strong theoretical and practical significance on evaluating the competitiveness of leisure sports industry across the country accurately and scientifically, making the development status and level of competitiveness plain, analyzing the factors of leisure sports industrial competitiveness in Sichuan, and providing relevant government departments and enterprise with useful strategy.The research on evaluating the competitiveness of leisure sports industry is still at the beginning stage, and there are few scholars to study the problem in China. First, this paper analyzes the relevance of the concept of leisure sports industrial competitiveness, and selects economy, population, resources of leisure sports, associated industry and government input as the factors, then establishes a new assessing index system of leisure sports industrial competitiveness according to the necessary principles. Secondly, after comparing and analyzing several common and typical evaluation methods, it uses the software of SPSS and combines factor analysis to appraise the competitiveness of leisure sports industry of our country's13provinces, then making a qualitative discussion of the evaluation result. Finally, the paper presents some countermeasures and suggestions for improving the competitiveness level of leisure sports industry.Through the study of this article, it discusses the relevance content of leisure sports industry, it mainly studies on the competitiveness evaluating index system and evaluating method which is suitable for leisure sports industry, and carries on empirical analysis to the competitiveness of leisure sports industry of our country's13provinces. This paper's findings have further enriched the research of leisure sports industry, and provide some theoretical foundation for government to improve the competitiveness of leisure sports industry.
