In 1960s, U.S. marine biologist Rachel Carson published his book of "Silent Spring", which opened the prologue of the ecological movement. Since 1970s, the ecological ethics has achieved great development and many schools emerged at the same time. Many eco-ethicists described the theory of ethnical ethics education in their writings and taught us that the ecological ethics education was the embodiment of Humanism with the perfect combination of truth, goodness and beauty, the coordinated and balanced development was the eternal theme of the educational values of eco-ethics, and the harmony between man and nature was the ideal pursued by the eco-ethics education.Over the years, the vocational colleges have been always focusing the moral education on teaching the students how to deal with the relationships between man and others, the collective and the society, but has ignored or offered relatively less education on how to deal with the relationships between man and nature, human and other living things.I have the good luck to work in a vocational college and have done an investigation on the current situation of the ecological ethics education for the students there and find there are many problems. For example, the school lacks the knowledge of ecological ethics education; students there have an overall low sense of ecological ethics; students have imbalanced awareness of the ecological ethics, etc. The causes for these problems are mainly:the content of moral education in the vocational colleges lags behind; the management mechanism of the ecological ethics education is insufficient; and the students have no clear awareness of moral lack in the ecological ethics.cBased on the reflection, I put forward the proposal of building the scientific education system for ecological education in the vocational colleges. Firstly, the schools should be clear of the main content of ecological ethics education:to guide students to treat nature in a friendly way and foster nature-views of the proud attitude towards life; to conduct students to live a simple life and establish a concept of green consumption; to lead student to be self-disciplined and promote the sustainable development. Secondly, it explores the ways to realize eco-ethics education:bringing the eco-ethical education into the moral education system in the vocational colleges; incorporating the ecological ethics education into the institutions management of the school teaching; taking the modern ecological ethics norms into the daily practice of students. Emphasizing the moral practice of the subject is the effective way to eventually solve the current slow development of the eco-ethics education in vocational colleges and increase the value orientation of students'ecological ethics construction.
