An Ethnological Research On Lessees Of Low-rent Houses In Urumqi

Urban low-rent housing is the government and units in the field of housing socialsecurity function, to provide for the lowest income families which have townregistered permanent residence with the relatively low rent housing. The Party CentralCommittee and the State Council attach great importance to solve the city lowestincome family housing, many policies are promulgated to promote low rent housingsystem.Urumqi began to constructe low-rent housingcommunity in2007. Until2011,there are12low rent housing communities, including6areas and realize the goal ingeneral.The Yangguang Yarunyuan is a multi-ethnic Community,which include Uighur,Han, Hui and other ethnic groups. In this thesis, the contents include:(1)introducingthe low-rent housing community, Yangguang Yarunyuan;(2) Changes of spiritual andmaterial life of the renters, which includes consumption structure, living conditions,traffic, religion and entertainment;(3) Changes of the relationship between differentethnic people in the new dwelling situation. We find mixed to promote understandingand association between different ethnic. In the same time, the situation help tostrengthen consanguinity relation, expanse territoriality and vocations.Owing to the current situation, the thesis thinke improvement of national work inlow-rent housing community and full affirmate and summarizes the existingexperience. Give full play to the patriotic progressives in minority religious followersof the positive role. With the new dwelling situation, weaken national and religiousdifferences and customs in different ethnic groups and strengthen the communications.In the end, thinking on improvement of national work in low-rent housing communityin Urumqi.
