The broadband digital receiver provides preliminary parameters measurements of radiation sources for electronic detection signal processing. The broadband digital receiver is the key module of miniature radar detection system and is also the key procedure assure the detection system performance. According to the indicator requirement, the dissertation design and implement the baseband signal processing module of broadband digital receiver.This dissertation mainly introduced three kinds of base-band signal processing algorithms commonly used in digital receiver(Digital Down-Conversion, Digital Channelization and CORDIC ),and derived the algorithms optimization method. With the use of the combination of optimal digital signal processing theory and FPGA chip hardware platform support, we design the quadrature down-conversion module in digital multi-phase filtering method and simulate the theory in MATLAB and QUARTUSII environment. Aim at multi-signal separation and precise frequency measurement requirement, we constitute the digital filters base on multi-phase method and design the digital channelized receiver , each channel in the FPGA uses DFT to fulfill the fast acquisition of output signal. CORDIC theory is to implement the calculating of amplitude and phase after DDC, and get CORDIC theory optimized. Finally, based on the above design, the dissertation gives the concrete realization in FPGA.A large number of calculation simulation and timing simulation in the dissertation have proved the correctness of the design. The result of the dissertation have been applied to a radar detection system and passed the test verification.
