For relieving the pressure of land demand and beautifying the city environment, more and more cities choose to build underground substation for meeting the growing needs of electricity. Different from the traditional substation, the operation of underground substation main electric equipments need the support of auxiliary equipments, so that the safe operation of auxiliary system is the basement of its normal operation. And auxiliary system has characteristics of numerous equipment, complex process, large device states quantity and analog quantity. In this paper, the author has developed a three dimensional simulation training system.At first, the paper introduces an underground substation auxiliary system, which contains four subsystems. It sorts out the needs of the development of training system and establishes the final development process. The paper also introduces the physical modeling of three dimensional simulation training system. And the physical models were divided into two parts: one is about scenes and the other is about equipments. The process of physical modeling is described in detail and some common problems in the modeling process are analyzed, particularly the optimization of physical model. The behavior models of auxiliary equipment are divided into four parts: data interface, date model, action model and mathematical model, and the realization of each part including the relationships between them are described comprehensively. In the last part of this paper, the author constructs the framework and the interface of simulation training system.The main works in this paper are as follows: (1) Divided the behavior model of auxiliary equipments into four parts according to their functions: data interface, date model, action model and mathematical model. Each part is independent from others and doesn't be influenced by the part which has been changed, that makes the system scalability.(2) Using the strategy of dynamic loading/ unloading to reduce the consumption of hardware resources and improve the efficiency of simulation training.(3) Exploration a way of establishing the system interface, and the function of prompting system operational state and a small map for indicating are finished.In a word, the system which was constructed by the method mentioned in the paper can not only ensures the completeness of simulation training system, but also fast and effectively realizes data exchange with other platforms, that makes the system become more realistic and has improved training effect.
