With the extension of the application area of computer simulation systems, the problems that need to be solved by Power Simulation System come to be more and more complicated, so many of them can't be resolved by single simulation but many in joint and collaboration. Therefore, distributed Power Simulation technology has become the foremost edge and one of the hot spots in Power Simulation area. Based on the summation of the latest fruits of research in both internal and external advanced substation simulation and distributed simulation technology ,it is initially discussed and studied something about applying the modeling and High Level Architecture(shortened in HLA) of simulation to the 3D Interactive Substation System in this article, which has its setting of researching the problems about the cooperation within many types of simulation systems in power system.This paper includes the following research contents mainly:1. Using the software of Multigen Creator to set up the virtual substation models and setup DOF nodes for the components of electric equipments. Predigesting the models. Using the billboard to set up telegraph poles and trees for the scene.2.Using the path and navigation tools of Vega to achieve the function of the virtual substation's automatism ramble. Program to achieve manual's ramble, operation of 3D electric equipments and assistant environment.3. Raised the implementation program of 3D Interactive Substation System , summarized the Functional requirements of every membership in the system, gave the workflow of every Federation member and the whole substation stimulation system as well as functional component module of every member . Object class and Interactive Class of Federation members were designed too. On the basis of senior modeling of members in the application of BHHLA/RTI Co-simulation platform ,3D Interactive Substation System simulation platform was completed and achieved .4. Human-machine monitoring and control interface was developed by using Visual C++ and the contraction between each module and user interface done with the help of modeling and HLA of simulation. The design constructed a simulated environment including two federates.5. All of the contents in the article was concluded, as well as the innovations and defects about the present designing. And the expectation to the future 3D Interactive Substation Simulation Technology was brought out.
