Abstract/Summary:
Corresponding to the development of computer and digit communication. The data collection technique apply to more domain. At data collection and signal monitoring system, The hot point focus on mathematic data collection function and fast process speed. In most cases, the most important factor is fast process speed, especially in natural complex marine environment, real-time is the main issue. In domestic, It is difficulty to satisfy people at most used data collection card, no matter in speed or real-time efficiency. As a result, high speed efficiency data collection card become the main research. With wave maker at State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Offshore Engineering as an application background. A PCI data collection card has been designed in this paper, coordinate with controller FPGA to fulfill the data collection task. First, propose an design scheme with detailed analysis and feasibility verification. Then choose every part device to complete the hardware design, two switch work with differential amplifier to fulfill the design of 32 channels of single-ended inputs with offset and 16 channels of differential inputs with offset, Using Verilog HDL language to coding internal logical control module. Based on system function requirement, using Windriver to developing PCI controller device driver. Finally complete the test of the overall function of entire data collection system, utilizating SignalTap to debug FPGA internal haedware logical module, observating every module sequence chart to provide simulation result and exploiting PCI controller device driver procedure to measure the speed of the three work mode. The success of the PCI controller data collection card system showed that the system is practical and high efficient.
