Research And Design Of Smart Home Control Network Based On ZigBee

With the high development of information technology and network, people change their notion in their dowell, the intellectualized and network home becomes the hot topic of discussion gradually, and begin to form intelligent home network, Smart home aims at constructing comfortable, safe and convenient habitation space, through the network connecting the information equipment and home.This smart home based on ZigBee technology has many strongpoints such as:good expansibility,doesn't need numerous lines, has low cost and low power consumption. Its superiority in application of home network can't be substituted by other technology.Firstly, ZigBee was indicated in this thesis that it is the best technology applied in intellectualized home, through comparing with other technology. Its wireless technology protocol frame was analysed, and was made a scrutiny into the function of different protocol layer, Low consumption wireless transceiver CC2430 which follows IEEE802.15.4 standard was adopted, It carries on the node development of wireless sensor network.Secondly, the hardware of the home gateway and the terminal nodes are designed, at the base of putting forward the whole project of smart home, The communication protocol was defined between host node and gateway. In MAC layer of ZigBee, the Carrier Sense Multiple Access (CSMA/CA) agreement have been improved to avoid confliction by the use of periodic listen and sleep mechanism, The improved agreement has an effective solution to the problem of the collision channel basis, and has good expansibility and low power.Thirdly, Aiming at the characteristics of ZigBee network and home control network, the effective protocol was devised which sustains self-organizing network, sustains network topology movement, and has the self-recovering function. The smart home system can find route and maintain network automatically For the constitution of home network, adding or deleting a node and the node movement, these tasks can be accomplished automatically without people's intervening. Otherwise, the system takes power-consuming into account in the design of hardware and software, using low power-consuming CMOS chip on hardware and adopting the alternant working-sleeping channel mechanism on software.At last, Some relative testings were done about the system, which reveals that the system has a good work and make the basic functions of smart home system come true.
