| The history of stereoscopic vision research can be dates back to before B.C.200 years. Stereoscope was invented in A.D.1838 years. Research show, the most important factor of generating stereoscopic vision is the binocular parallax.Stereo display technology development is very rapid in 21 century. Stereo display method of classify, there are holographic display and non-holographic display. The naked eye stereo display technology and the non-naked eye stereo display technology belong to non-holography display technology. The non-naked eye stereo display technology theory is that, the different parallax images were observed by eyes, make eyes to see stereo images. Therefore, stereo video recording need collection double video data. Through processing the video images, we can make persons to observe the parallax images and generate the stereo effect.As a master student, I take the project of the design and implementation method of 3D camera system base on FPGA as a research task. I use two CMOS video sensors collection video data. The Cycloneâ…¢device of ALTERA Company is used for video real time processing. The work flow as follows.Firstly, I collect two way video signals with Bayer pattern. Secondly, I transform the data format of video from Bayer pattern into RGB24 pattern by interpolating. Thirdly, using the FPGA's internal memory, compose video FIFO video data buffer. Finally, through processing the video image, we get complementary color stereo video.This design drives the LCD screen display by the stereoscopic video image data. Through wearing the anaglyphic spectacles, we can see stereo image.The thesis presentation that the design and implementation of 3D camera photography system. The 3D camera has some special feature, for example, high integration, complementary color stereo display and convenient view. |
