Study On PTN Network Planning & Security Technology And Its Application In Nanjing Mobile

Packet Transport Network (PTN) is widely accepted as one of best choice for high efficient transporting packet service and carrier grade quality of service which makes the network planning and implementation of PTN technology current research focus. This thesis presents a study on PTN technology and its application in Nanjing Mobile.This thesis presents the fundamental principles and major technology analysis of PTN including PTN technical characteristics and evolution scenarios. Then PTN network planning and security issues are analyzed such as network element planning, service and traffic planning, synchronous and protection. Finally, a specific PTN planning and service arrangement strategy for Nanjing Mobile is proposed.
