The role of Logistics in economic activities is more and more important. The enterprises need specialized logistics talents urgently. Logistics talents have been listed in twelve categories of shortage personnel of China. In order to adapt to the development of the logistics industry, schools invested a large amount of funds for the construction of the Logistics Laboratory and did research on logistics training system. This paper, based on the Logistics Laboratory, Designed a logistics training system based on Manufacturing Execution System (MES).This thesis focuses on the following contents. Firstly, the research and application situation of the MES and logistics training system is introduced. Secondly, the detailed requirement analysis of logistics training system is put forward. It is based on the MES function model, the equipment in the logistics laboratory and the basic operational procedures of a case enterprise. The overall function model of the system and detailed functions of each module are designed in this segment. Thirdly, the applications and advantages of the radio frequency identification (RFID) are demonstrated. Researches on the stationary and portable RFID readers in our laboratory were put up. The application of RFID in the logistics training system is also designed. Then, with SQL Server as the background database, Visual C++as the system development tool, the design of the database and interfaces of the logistics training system are processed. The work of system development is done. Finally, the training processes based on the supply chain operation modes are brought forward. The operation results show that the logistics training system is reliable, stable and convenient. It can basically meet the needs of logistics training.
