The Equipment System Design Base On Heterogeneous Database In Colleges

With the development of information technology, a variety of management information system has been in the community has been widely applied, and have achieved good results. Equipment by university management practices, management information systems not only improve the efficiency of device management, but also makes the equipment in this sector to be a reasonable allocation. But most colleges and universities are based Institute for the device management units, the flow is limited to equipment within the School, did not form a university-wide resource sharing management system for the target device. Therefore, the data structure there is a considerable heterogeneity, making the coordination of data communication between the various databases become difficult to achieve integrated management of equipment.This article is based on this situation, the use of heterogeneous distributed database technology, database processing equipment for the school to rethink the management processes, and combined with my practical work experience, the functions of the system functional block diagram flow chart and a detailed design, and use ASP.NET and SQL database language, technology, design and development of a practical application in line with the school's facilities-based integrated management of heterogeneous database systems. Completed the asset management module, data query module, equipment module and equipment obsolescence and allocation of maintenance modules developed to form a unified device management system of colleges and universities. In this system implementation, the various faculties of the original investment remains unchanged, resulting in the higher-level coordination of the various databases can be a good relationship between the integrated device management platform that enables device information between various departments are fully to share. By using data replication technology and snapshot technology to ensure consistency between the various databases and stability. The application of this system to actually improve the university to share equipment resources, and procurement issues to resolve duplication between departments provides a practical solution, and enhanced equipment to flow between the various faculties, for improving the efficient use of equipment to coordinate the various departments for the sharing and use of equipment have certain significance and reference value.
