Research Of Intensive Use Of Urban Land Based On Smart Growth In Zhengzhou

After the World WarⅡ, with the rapid economic development, large-scaled popularization of cars and road construction, low density urban sprawl emerged. Because of the spread of the city low density, phenomenon such as inefficient use of infrastructure, good quality of land wasted, the slow development of urban centers and other issues appeared. Response to this growing phenomenon of urban sprawl in western countries, it proposed smart growth concept. In recent years, low efficiency of land use and the expansion of space phenomena appeared in urbanization process in China, more and more similar to urban sprawl of foreign countries. Land utilization in Zhengzhou also undergone significant changes. Since 2000, Zhengzhou built-up area is expanding at a rate of about 20 square kilometers a year. Therefore, depth analysis of the phenomenon about urban sprawl in development process of Zhengzhou. referring to the smart growth concept, actively carry out intensive use of urban land have great significance for the reasonable control of urban land scale, improve land use efficiency and promote the healthy development of the city.This thesis, on the basis of the research of smart growth and urban land intensive use,analysis the mechanism of the urban land intensive use from the perspective of smart growth. And it formed concept and connotation of urban land intensive use basing on the smart growth. On the base of this, the author built an evaluation index system from land-use structure, intensity, land-use economic, social and environmental benefits. Combined with the appropriate index data of the index system, it makes a quantitative analysis of the urban land intensive utilization in Zhengzhou. Compared with the situation of land use in Shanghai and Wuhan, it found that the intensive use of urban land is not high in Zhengzhou, with layout somewhat unreasonable, low level of three-dimension, high investment and low output.On the base of this, the author proposed structure optimization model of urban land intensive utilization in Zhengzhou city, measuring the development trend of urban land intensive utilization structure optimization. With the comparison between optimization results and reality situation, smart growth concept'feasible practice method was applied to the urban land intensive using process of Zhengzhou. In order to achieve comprehensive benefit maximizing, it proposed constantly optimize the layout of urban land use, promote the three-dimensional development of city land, continue to enliven stock land, and vigorously develop public traffic and other measures. So as to make Zhengzhou became economic prosperity, traffic developed, beautiful environment, improved infrastructure, well-service functioning socialist modernization business city.
