Zhejiang International Service Trade Competitiveness Study

Zhejiang has always been the best among the provinces and cities in China's economy. Since the reform and opening up in 1978, Zhejiang has made remarkable progress in the development of foreign trade, especially in service trade, which greatly stimulate the overall economy. But we should also be noted that the current scale and the quality service trade in Zhejiang are still have some gaps when compared with Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai. Therefore, to achieve the competitiveness of trade in services is a crucial factor to a sustained, rapid and sound development of Zhejiang's economic development. That's to say, study on the competitiveness of international service trade in Zhejiang has important practical significance.Based on the theoretical research, this thesis summarizes the current competitiveness of international service trade; for the object of research, this thesis constructed competitiveness of international service trade evaluation index system and evaluation model, use these indicators system on international service trade in Zhejiang competitiveness assessment, forecast the development trends and characteristics; then according to the conclusions, the thesis analyzed the key factors and use regression analysis of factors; Finally, the results, on how to improve the development of international trade in services in Zhejiang were explored and the specific strategic measures were given in this thesis, including the emphasis on the development of human capital, attract foreign and private capital, and increase service outsourcing development, optimize the service structure and the potential of modern service industry.
