On the condition of market economy, SMEs are playing important roles in national economic construction by creating values or offering jobs,and have become an important force in national economy and social development. In order to maintain the competitive power of SMEs,supervisors are enhancing modernization management on enterprises. Meanwhile salary administration is important part,and the focus to SMEs supervisors. salary administration has the key meaning to the development and grandness.By the survey and research on degree of staff's satisfaction about salary in some representative SMEs,we analyze current situation and problems of salary management in these enterprises. Then this paper gives the research results (including the salary levels,salary system and incentive measures)on staff's salary satisfaction of different ages, levels and industries.And this article puts forward a series of measures on how to improve staff's paying satisfaction, according to the relationship and weight of each index system. That is to optimize the existing paying system, build a reasonable incentive system, establish the dynamic salary standard and increase their welfare,etc. Finally to improve the SMEs'competitiveness in Changsha, this paper gives some suggestions on how to improve employee satisfaction through salary administration. The research results can provide constructive and guidance significance on some SMEs'human resources management in Changsha.
